Glowing Skin With Weleda Skin Food Light

Weleda Skin Food Light

I have been trying this new ‘cult’ moisturiser, Weleda Skin Food Light, for about 6 weeks now thanks to A Model Recommends whose beauty advice I take very seriously. I use the smaller tube at 30 ml twice a day and absolutely love it. A little goes a long way and the smaller tube is also perfect for travelling.

The cream smells really citrusy, clean and fresh. In fact, the zing is a bit of a wake-up call when applied first thing in the morning. It smells and feels as if it is packed full of good, healthy, natural ingredients. (It does contain organic sunflower oil, extracts of pansy, chamomile, and calendula.)

As much as I love using serums I haven’t needed to and my skin stays moisturised all day. It is also a perfect primer for make up as sinks into the skin easily and doesn’t leave a greasy residue. I haven’t personally used the original Skin Food but have heard reviews that it is heavy and greasy. I am tempted to use it in the winter months as a night cream though so will let you know how I get on if I do.

Since using the cream my milia have also disappeared and this is a problem I have had for many years. (You can read about the treatment I had to remove them here.) As you can get milia due to using too much cream I’m not sure if the lightness of the Weleda Skin Food Light is what has helped or something else, it’s hard to say!

I haven’t had any skin breakouts since using Weleda Skin Food Light and my skin is left feeling fresh and glowing all day. I can really see why this is a cult product and as it’s a fair price and easy to get hold of there really is no reason why you shouldn’t try it for yourself.

I buy mine from Holland and Barrett but you can get it from Amazon too.

Please note these opinions are my own.
